Pestano is having elbow soreness. They are giving him some time off.

Kazmir looked pretty good today. He had a good slider and was hitting 94 with his fastball. He is improving with every start. The new guys on this team are making the FO look damn good.

I would be nice to find a reliable 4th and 5th starter. Tigers are loaded...maybe the injury bug will hit. They have 2 startes with ERA below 2 and 2 others below 3.5. They mash the ball too.

They need to find Raburn a spot somewhere. He has an exra base hit every 8 plate appearances and a dinger every 16 plate appearances. Kipness and Cabrera are finally waking up but sitting them down now and then for Raburn should happen. And Lonnie, time is running short for you to produce.

Raburn won't play the infield much. The thing with raburn is he is a very streaky hitter so when he starts getting cold we play the regulars. I would like to see him get a few starts at 3rd vs lefties though. The way kipnis and drubs are swinging the bat right now they need to play every game for a while. They are starting to get in a zone. I can't wait till bourn gets back he brings so much to this lineup with his speed.

Bourn is so nice cause it moves Brantley down to the 5/6 hole (depending on what we do with Santana) and lengthens the line-up a lot. Also provides another guy who will get on base for Reynolds if he is moved down to the 7th spot. Santana and Brantly before Reynolds is almost like having him cleanup with the way those 2 will get on base.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Reynolds will likely be moved to the 7 spot with Brantley 5th and Santana 6th

Call me crazy but I like our lineup 1-9 better than Detroit's.
