Problem is I like Cabrera and Fielder 1000x more than anyone in our line-up. Those 2 instantly make their line-up one of the best in baseball no matter who else is there.

Honestly I would say Santana is about the same as fielder . But no one touches Cabrera in all of baseball

If Santana hits this way all year, sure. Until then, not close.

Fielder is a superior hitter in all facets throughout their careers. Santana will have to have a great year to be on par with what Prince will do, imo.

Agreed. By the end of the year Santana will be on par with fielder. Even when Santana hit 250 last year his obp was still near 400. I fully expect him to bat .310-15 with 25-30 hrs 100+ rbis.

If he does that, I will agree (and like you, I think he can). But until then, its just hard for me to put him on the same level as a guy like Fielder who has proven it over a 5-6 year span.

Cabrera is so far ahead of the rest of MLB, imo, it isnt even fair at times lol

Ha what was drubs thinking stealing 3rd? Should be DOA. Oh well, it worked out. Plouffe has been the Twins best hitter this weekend it seems. Sucks that he did it with a man on.

Did you pay attention since we started the Chatter? We have been doing it this way for like 4 years now. If the person doesnt lose (ie wins or splits) the series, they make the next one as well.
