I stayed in a house in Gourde (Southern France) and they have scorpions all over that place. Talk about restless nights.Mohican00;1437048 wrote:I can handle bees/snakes/spiders to an extent, but a scorpion? Fuck that

An episode of flipping Vegas bought a foreclosure that was INFESTED with bark scorpions. They're the nastier ones out West, but they still rarely kill ya. Oh, and you also have to deal with the black widow spiders.said_aouita;1437018 wrote:I don't miss opening my front door to a scorpion sitting on the metal door step.
Never had a bee issue in Az.
The desert sucks.
Honestly, neither would really bother me. I'd be far more worried about having brown recluse spiders. At least bees or wasps are usually much easier to get rid of.

Or you could buy a house for less than a thousand a month and have no flowersGblock;1436902 wrote:well i just moved there and i went running yesterday and they are everywhere around the complex. its camden place apartments behind tuttle mall. they have lots of trees, flowers and these bees are all over so im not sure they are going to do much for me personally. but for 1000 a month rent this is annoying

I would punch every bee in the face.
On a serious note my friend lived there a couple years ago and there are a lot of car break ins don't leave anything valuable in sight.

There was a yellow jacket in my apartment today. I killed it with a shoe.

My brother and SiL found one in their house in Phoenix last year. I went to visit about a month later and was on high alert the entire time.BORIStheCrusher;1437051 wrote:I was lucky enough to never run into one. Someone I worked with out there found one in his shoe in his closet! If that were me I probably would have moved out, no way I'd be able to sleep at night thinking about that.
