When you graduate with a degree from Ohio State, money isn't the objective. The objective is to change the world in a positive way. Some will choose to do so through monetary gains while others will choose to do so by making an impact regardless of its financial benefit. :thumbup:Raw Dawgin' it;1439362 wrote:I'm sure that pays the bills...

You are given 2 people, one went to Northwestern and the other went to Carnegie Mellon. You're telling me you pick the guy who went to Carnegie Mellon(lul who?) over the guy who graduated from Northwestern? :laugh:Raw Dawgin' it;1439364 wrote:lol really?

I'd take the Northwestern grad because he's dumber and will be cheaper for me to hire, EZ. Northwestern tends to be one of those schools where the undergrads are preparing for graduate and professional school as opposed to the entry-level job market. Not a huge surprise they aren't on that list.

I choose to change the world through monetary gains. The goal hasn't changed but my path is different.Raw Dawgin' it;1439373 wrote:So you just contradicted your entire being, according to who you are on this website anyways.

Also I'd never hire anyone who's dumber than me regardless of their expense. As far as I know, my company has never hired a MAC grad and never will.

Well to be quite honest that pool of people is pretty damned small.sleeper;1439420 wrote:I choose to change the world through monetary gains. The goal hasn't changed but my path is different.

Agreed. A lot of people are dumber than me and there's only so many top tier Northwestern grads we can snatch up. :thumbup:thavoice;1439423 wrote:Well to be quite honest that pool of people is pretty damned small.

Lets not forget the point of all this - Notre Dame Engineers make more money out of undergrad than ANY Ohio State undergrad program. If you want to see a good football team, go to OSU, if you want to be successful, go to Notre Dame.

I think Notre Dame is a great academic environment. I don't see what that has to do with the ability of Ohio State to change the world one student at a time. :thumbup:Raw Dawgin' it;1439455 wrote:Lets not forget the point of all this - Notre Dame Engineers make more money out of undergrad than ANY Ohio State undergrad program. It's about making money - we're not talking about changing the world, you are, cause you go off on random tangents, but it was about what schools student have the highest salary when they graduate. Twist all you want, but a Notre Dame engineer graduates and makes more money than any Ohio State grad...pretty sad if you ivy league schools to be referred to as "The Ohio State of the East."sleeper;1439465 wrote:I think Notre Dame is a great academic environment. If your goal is to just make a lot of money in life, please go to a non-B1G school. B1G school graduates can and do make plenty of money in their lifetime but they chose the B1G prestige because they truly want to make a positive impact on the world around them. I mean I'm sure some MAC grads chose their respective MAC school because they thought it would net them a higher salary at their job after college; only to find out McDonalds doesn't give raises based on how many degrees you have. Never-the-less, I'm sure some MAC grads have gotten substantial raises above minimum wage at whatever McDonalds(or restaurant) they decided to work at after college.Raw Dawgin' it;1439466 wrote:It's about making money - we're not talking about changing the world, you are, cause you go off on random tangents, but it was about what schools student have the highest salary when they graduate. That's funny bc my cousin actually graduated from BG and he is senior VP of pnc bank. So that proves your theory wrong

that is because a grad from OSU or ND is the President of the bank, and not the VP......Crimson streak;1439530 wrote:That's funny bc my cousin actually graduated from BG and he is senior VP of pnc bank. So that proves your theory wrong

It really doesn't. It would be like pointing to Bill Gates and saying he proves that dropping out of college is a smart decision.Crimson streak;1439530 wrote:That's funny bc my cousin actually graduated from BG and he is senior VP of pnc bank. So that proves your theory wrong

Were you just smart-assing, or is Google your friend? The CEO of PNC up until a couple of weeks ago was a graduate of both ND and tOSU.thavoice;1439533 wrote:that is because a grad from OSU or ND is the President of the bank, and not the VP......
