Had a smashed thumb, not a cut

That was the worst call I've ever seen in sports

I am kind of a hawks fan (not really but my GF loves them) but I've literally never seen a call that was that important and that bad even if it was "technically" right which I have no idea if it was or wasnt

Especially so far away from the play.

But then again, the announcers were calling it a pretty good call, so who knows. I know zero about the rules of hockey.

The thing I noticed was that the ref who called it off was literally watching the Blackhawks about to shoot. I even slo-mo ed it and watch him. He sees the guy thrown to the ice then looks at the play, watches it for like 3 seconds then waves his arms. It's ridiculous

Also on replay...what did Saad even do? Terrible.

My GF says they are just saying that so that there wont be a huge controversy and my buddy who is a wings fan also told me he thought it was a ridiculously bad call.

He gets thrown into the ground and like punches up while trying to get his balance. It's seriously probably the worst call I've ever witnessed in my 23 years

Doc and Enzo rarely point out terrible calls. Jones and Milbury agree that it was shit.

That's why you get up instead of doing the little extracurricular activities in a Game 7. He jumped on him deliberately, whether they should have stopped the play or not doesn't matter, don't do stupid shit like that. Totally deserved a penalty there

Why would they care if there is a controversy?

I will say that's the right call however. You know why Hjalmarsson was wide open? Because KQ had a guy on his back!

Because he pushed the guy into his own bench.

And because Zetterberg fell.

But other than that yes.

So hit him back. Don't jump on him and rip his helmet off, that's gonna get a penalty every time. And Quincey is a defenseman he would have been back there
