Never said that Denmark had a "Great Economy". What I pointed out is that they have the largest welfare state in the world and yet lower unemployment than less generous welfare states...in a bad economy no less! This is a direct attack on the argument that conservatives make that overly generous welfare states (as if the U.S. even came remotely close that which it does not) cause unemployment.

The Danes have their own currency which is a crucial difference but they still peg it to the Euro which is dumb...like pegging your currency to a currency on the gold standard. Not a good idea. They also need to incur more public deficits and/or public debt w/ lower taxes and/or more public spending to spur private demand and so their private sector can save more and take on less debt (kind of like us).

However, none of that has anything to with my point that their case severely undermines the claim that supply side work disincentives are the primary reason for unemployment. It's all about low demand pretty much everywhere in the world right now.

And my point is what difference does it make if the employment is in the form of "McJobs" and their citizens have to rely on government borrowing for their entitlements? It doesn't make it a healthy economy, because it isn't. The only "statist/socialist" economy doing well is Norway, and that's because of its huge oil industry. Everywhere else pretty much stinks.

Well, Denmark has scored as the happiest country in the world with its people reporting the most life satisfaction for the last several years. Also, employment makes an absolute difference even if you consider it to be in jobs that aren't worthy because the social and external costs of unemployment and especially long term unemployment are terrible.
