Did you tell your wife? I made the mistake of hitting big on a riverboat outside of the Quad Cities (Illinois), and calling my wife and telling her.
When I had to use my credit card to pay for gas & food on the return trip home....she wasn't very happy.
And that did go to strippers, it was a bachelor party. It's amazing what they'll do to a groom (my cousin) for a $100 bill. lol

Those penny slots will trick a lot of people. Everyone usually wants to hit "bet maximum" until they realize those "penny" slots cost anywhere from $1.80 to upwards of $10 per spin. Why in the world would you do room service? You're in Vegas, there are world-class restaurants you can drop a grand on. We did it for my best friends bachelor party and it was awesome. But if we actually had money to buy a bunch of shit, it would have been better.
I wouldnt do it for lunch or dinner, though. Way to many nice restaurants and steakhouses and shit in Vegas.

Lost 500 yesterday but got to see something amazing. Guy comes up yo the roulette wheel takes about 20 grand out of his pocket. Puts 500 max bet on 13. Hits. Fucking hits. Tips dealer 1000 bucks. Walks off. Never seen anything like it.
