I don't bet. LOL
But, given the stipulations....I really can see Alvarez beating Mayweather.

Props to Floyd for stepping up and taking the fight. Funny how he made a huge deal about catch weights in the past with Manny but didn't with Canelo. Canelo is dangerous and has the skills to beat Floyd, especially the power if he cuts off the cage and puts him against the ropes. I feel like Canelo is maybe a bit too young though to get it done although he has experience.

Did anyone watch the Malignaggi-Broner fight on Saturday night? I didn't have a problem with Broner winning the split decision but 117-111 on the New York judge's card??? C'mon, man.
Will be interesting to see who Broner fights next. Probably Marcos Maidana. I could see Broner losing. He didn't impress me against Paulie. I think Matthysse and Danny Garcia fight next but I would like to see Broner-Matthysse at some point. Matthysse would KO Broner IMO. Golovkin-Macklin is Saturday night on HBO. Should be entertaining.
Anyways, some really good end of Summer into Fall PPV fights. Obviously Mayweather-Canelo is the biggest but Bradley-Marquez and Pacquiao-Rios have the potential to be very good fights. Which one are you looking forward to the most? Which fight do you think will be the most entertaining?

Matthysse-Garcia on undercard of the Canelo-Mayweather PPV on Sept. 14. That's fucking awesome. Can't wait.

Showtime had an amazing night of fights tonight. Thurman-Chaves didn't disappoint and neither did the main event Berto-Soto Karass. But the fight of the night and probably the year was put on by Figueroa and Arakawa. Wow. Talk about fighting in a phone booth. Non-stop action from start to finish. Just brutal. Those two are warriors in every sense of the word. I'd rank it right up there with the Corrales-Castillo and Gatti-Ward fights. Just flat out amazing.

Yea man that was a crazy fight. Glad I tuned in for it. They probably threw 2000 punches or more lol Figeroa was doing a ton of damage but amazingly Arakawa was hanging in til the end. But I bet he can't open his eyes this morning.killer_ewok;1479412 wrote:Showtime had an amazing night of fights tonight.
