UGLY! Just cut the swing down and go for a simple single and 2 RBI, or one RBI on a SF, especially after getting 2 strikes!

CF should have given two errors, one to let Homer score and Choo go to 3rd, and then the 2nd, the drop, to let Votto go to 2nd. Also, the Choo hit maybe should have been an error on the SS. A shame for that run to be earned on the basis of the walk to BP forcing in a run which was already in the dugout, and for that reason he pitched around him when with no error he would have been pitching to BP to get an inning ending DP. Defense has been far from stellar for both teams today.

BP a little early on his stretch at 1B on the attempted 2-5-4 play for the DP on the bunt.

Homer with a good day at the plate with a hit, run scored, and a sac bunt. With his pitch count, he won't get to the plate again.

Yeah....but again, this is the big leagues.

Choo is a fucking beast.

He's been on base 11 of his last 12 plate appearances. That's sick...

Lots of deficiencies in the big leagues, the Marlins defensively challenged outfield for instance.

Took 3/4 from the lowly Marlins..good with me.

Rough stretch on the horizon. Get the Cubs at home for 3, then a 10 game road trip, including 4 at Washington.

Dusty is the most loyal manager in the history of the world. If Dusty was managing back in the 20's for the Yankees, no one would've ever heard of Lou Gehrig, and his disease would be called something else.....Taverasitis or something prolly.

Best sweep the Cubs. They're looking so far to be the new Houston Astros (the team who finishes so far behind everyone else, you don't even realize they're in the division until you realize they're getting moved out and you have to find somewhere else to get those 15 wins a year you were counting on them to give you) in the Central.

Are you going to any games at Wrigley next weekend? I am coming up for at least Saturday's game.

I've thought about taking Friday off and heading to Chicago Thursday night so I can go to the game on Friday. Saturday will be my first game at Wrigley not sitting in the bleachers. I think it will be a little weird.
