I'm shocked that LE is using open scanner channels/equipment. Instead of requesting that media not report on the info, why not encrypt?

Speaking of my sources. My cousin lives in Cambridge and she says the sirens and whirling sounds of low-flying helicopters is just surreal and makes you jump each time you hear a new one. When the sirens are not blaring and there are no helicopters nearby, she said the silence is piercing and that she's never heard it that quiet in the almost six years she's lived there.
She works every once in awhile as a nanny for a family that lives in a Cambridge brownstone, which stands only two blocks from where the bombs went off, and where she is staying right now. They were at the race and left shortly before the explosions.
I visited her there in October of 2010, almost three years and several months to the exact day. Crazy.

How many people were murdered in Boston today? There were two people murdered in Toledo tonight alone as part of routine, everyday, run of the mill shootings. So I imagine robberies are not that uncommon in Boston.
