I actually agree with this.

At some point, wouldn't you just call the game? I'd think that'd be easy to do in baseball.

They did, after 3 innings.

I've also heard rumors that there may have been a little payback from the way Harvest Prep supposedly ran up scores in basketball.

obviously Harvey needs to evaluate its program and see if it can actually be competitive with anyone...and if not...then drop the program altogether. Certainly, it shouldn't be playing Licking.

The worst that I ever personally witnessed/experienced was when daughter Hits2 was a freshman, and we were a below average softball D3 school composed mostly of sophomores and freshmen. They scheduled a game with an inner city school, clearly to get a win, but before the game was played our coach got wind of how awful the opposition was, and started his varsiity bench and some JV players. Before the 3rd inning, it was the only the JV bench playing and the game ended 28-0. It was trhe most god awful thing I've ever witnessed in terms of a sporting event. The other team was embarrassingly hapless. Their pitcher was throwing lollipops, couldn't get it over the plate, and the fielders couldn't field simple ground balls or popups.

That was really bad....I cannot even imagine what 65-0 looked like:(

Pretty sure they're in the same league.

You heard wrong. There was no running the score up in this game at all. HP couldn't catch a ball either hit or thrown to get an out. LH players were jogging the bases and HP still couldn't get them out. HP pitchers hit 11 batters...ELEVEN! They are just that bad.

As for the idea that HP "supposedly" ran scores up in basketball...don't be ridiculous. Everyone watched them run scores up. Their girls team would stay in full court press and fast break mode until the end of the game up by 70+ points.

Well there you have it then, a little dose of their own medicine.

When I was in high school (varsity baseball rode bus with JV softball) and the JV girls lost 55-0 in 4. Our JV softball this year lost a game 45-4
