Don't want an additional 9 million off the books for the Summer of '14?

Honestly, if we really want a shot blocker and a wing player out of our top 2 picks, take a wing like Oladipo or McLemore and find a way to get Dieng.

If you make the trade with dallas, that could happen at 13. Could also still be the foreign center there that a lot of teams like. His name is slipping my mind

Gobert?

If you're thinking Len, I say he will go top 10.

What about a trade with Sac. For Cousins and to take the restrictions off the 2014 pick to make it unprotected. I'd give them the first pick and the 19th for cousins and the unprotected pick. Any chance at wiggins is all I want lol

I think a lot of it has to do with the kings sucking and really will continue to suck. And also that he really just doesn't want to be there. I really think he would be fine in Cleveland. He would be on a team that is very talented, young and actually has a plan and will be a top team in the east soon. Winning cures everything

Not that it's a fair comparison, but I don't see his problems being any worse than Dwight Howard. Sure, he hasn't performed quite at Howard's level yet, but Dwight is about to sign a max deal with someone here soon...

Wow you're dense. It was referencing your post earlier where you played dumb and tried to act like you didn't know what my wording meant on my previous post regarding Noel's weight compared to Marc Gasol/Dwight Howard. Everyone else got it, but you were too concerned with trying to be a little bitch and call out everything derailing the thread. Which you're still trying to do. Now please TRY and stay on topic, not trying to derail every Cleveland thread because you're not a Cleveland fan and no one wants to talk cowboys football with you. Wildcats seems to be able to do it, not sure why you can't.

Now, BACK ON TOPIC. Cousins is obliviously a superior prospect than any player in this draft, but he's a selfish idiot who I think would destroy this locker room. I don't see Mike Brown as the leader to change that.

I cant understand why everyone thinks NN is too big of a risk for the cavs to take yet we expect people to trade a bunch of stuff in order to move up to #1 to take him... Doesn't make sense to me especially considering we could use an athletic, defensive center

Another Kansas fan's take on McLemore
I'm a KU fan so I have seen Mclemore play alot and know his game very well, but I have my concerns. He has all kinds of talent, but he has a demeanor that scares me. He just flat out isn't very aggressive, and I could imagine he would be even more passive in the NBA since he will be playing on a whole new level with superstars and veterans, which I'm sure would be intimidating. And to be fair, it could maybe be used in a good way since it shows he isn't selfish and can learn to play within the flow of an offense which is a great trait to have, but there were SO many times where he should have taken over on KU and be more aggressive to lead his team to victory, but he never really did and let his far less superior teammates continue to make the plays. That shows lack of leadership to me, which can be learned, but the guy has to be way more aggressive and hopefully he can figure it out in the NBA.

That being said, I think he will be a solid player in the league and won't be a bust by any stretch, but I don't think he will live up to the hype and expectation that everyone has for him. He definitely has the potential to be a player like Ray Allen in his prime, but I don't think he will quite get there but could get close. So that said, would a player that could potentially be Ray Allen at the best be super worth a number one pick? Not really in my opinion, especially when we have Dion who will either be just as good of a player, if not better. And I highly doubt Dion would want to come off the bench, especially to a rookie. So basically I'm not sure he fits either way.

I would only take him if Nerlens had confirmed injury complications, but even then you would have to consider other candidates.

I would not hold out on the idea that teams would want to move up to take someone else other than Noel. He is not a definite #1 pick and someone might see Burke, Oladipo or McLemore as their guy. I don't know of those teams because I haven't studied contracts/Free Agency yet.
