Ya, I normally don't care at all. And I actually don't care today either.

But I found it amusing Sports Center had a segment where they had Skylar Diggins, Elena Della Donne and Britney Griner (top 3 picks?) on to talk.

And then I thought of the old Sesame Street game:

"One of these things is not like the other,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time that I finish this song?"

Britney certainly isn't helping herself that she was wearing converse shoes, jeans, a grey long-sleeved shirt and a freaking bow-tie. She even dresses like a dude.

I really do get annoyed when ESPN tries to shove women's basketball down our throat. Is the WNBA still siphoning money from the NBA or is the league viable on it's own?

The NBA still has to support it - its been severely cash flow negative every year which is why so many teams have been sold or folded, new investors use it as an advertising opportunity and to get NBA funding. My guess is for most franchises physical plant overhead exceeds players' salaries.

Is there a trend towards a future long-term viability or are they just treading water?

I thought the fact that WNBA and Must See Thread were in the same sentence indicated heavy overbearing sarcasm. My bad.

Leave it to F4F to start a thread on the WNBA draft. What next, 7th grade girls bball scores?

7th grade girls basketball is the WBNA of the future, you know?

And at that point AlwaysAFan will be a contestant on The Moment to fulfill his life long dream of being a sports reporter.

Who was the poster who used to post scores and play-by-play action from seventh-grade games? Was that alwaysafan or Liteinthetunnel?

Both were legends on the huddle, I don't care what you say. When I think of the huddle, I think of them. Liteinthetunnel posted an update every five seconds on the dot. Lol.

NCF?

Also, Darby had a HOF thread where he was the ONLY person commenting on the thread, where he was basically giving a play-by-play of a Yankees game.

The Darby thread was great. I remember that, but mostly because I've done that with Duke games before, back when I used to start a new thread for each new game with a five paragraph introduction with full game notes and color analysis.

You might be right on NCF. I can't remember.

I do love the threads where people give full-on Al Michaels play-by-play when the games they are discussing are nationally televised. Like they're the only ones with access to ESPN and our only means of getting that information lol.

The WNBA is the best professional basketball league in the nation. I'd rather watch Lezbos over Thugs anytime. Hell some might even be Lipstick Lezbos.

Lite started a new thread in the playoffs or whatever as soon as a seires was complete etc. Dude was ridiculous. I remember the old Huddle chat rooms and we would all just rail on that poor dude...and Darby for asking if he should have sex with a girl lol.

Holy shit I forgot about that guy! I remember he was once telling me how this star girls bball player at my school was going to be out for the tourney with an injury, when I was at her house that day hanging out with her brother lol. She was shooting around in the driveway and shit fine but hey how could I argue with Liteinthetunnel's inside info

Thought I remembered there being a WNBA thread, and sure enough, here it is.

Anyway, I may have missed this, but are these naked pics on the Internet of Skylar Diggins actually real?

How did I miss that you were part of the Late Night Crew? Haha. Those were some fun chats. Lite would never get it nearly as bad as Darby. Darby would come in to the chat, we all left and formed another one at the same time. He was left alone in the old one. Had no idea.
