I finish my personal and business today.

I been over paying for the past three years (big time) both in business and personal, I'm filing refund for 09,10 and 11. If everything works out my back tax 2011 will be paid off and my 2012 will be less than $4000.00 and state will be under $900.00 and that's a good thing.

Next year if the plan works I will not pay any Federal taxes :D

I did mine at the end of Janurary. Received my state refund ($152) a few days later, and then my fed ($74) a few days after that.

This is where ccrunner chimes in about how awesome his refund was, a few people ridicule him for poorly managing his taxes, and then the topic goes to hell just like a few months ago when this thread was around.

Oh, and I got mine done in early February, I believe. Earliest I've ever done them.

Waiting for the check in the mail. Will most likely put it towards the new car. We have a 6 year loan so the refund should cover a years worth of payments basically giving us a 5 year loan at 6 year loan prices. Getting married has definitely been a financial gain ha.

We finally finished ours up the other day. After 2 or 3 years of owing thousands each year we will finally net a small return. We get back about $1500 from federal, largely because of my wife's grad school tuition. We owe a couple hundred to the state and to the city so we'll net about $800. Better than the $3k we owed a few years ago. Also, fuck you IRS. Just because.
