He bunted Choo to 2nd last night in the 9th, putting the Angels in a dilemma on whether they should walk Votto, who was struggling against left handers, or pitch to him, which they did, and lost the game.

Don't know if they mentioned it on tv or not, but Marshall is out until probably tomorrow, which is why we haven't seen him yet.

He's had 2 starts and two good games. He had a single, SB, run, sac bunt yesterday. Not sure what you want from him.

Hits would work. 2 spot is huge for the reds this year. Either need a bunch of hits from him or good at bats moving guys over. My problem.with him is his approach at the plate. Almost always is first pitch swinging and misses about anything that's not a fastball.

Im hoping he gets hot and proves me.wrong. im just not sold on heisey as an everyday player.

WEll this will be his last legit shot at proving he can, or cannot, be one.

Good job by LeCure retiring the bottom of the order in order on 3Ks! Let Chapman get the top for the save.

Really hope it's the cool weather that has Chapman's velocity down.

People expecting to see Aroldis hitting 100+ consistently, it's not going to happen. Maybe a few times...

I think we will see less 100. But he cant throw 92-93 if his offspeed stuff isn't working because guys are looking fastball and 93 is very hittable.

I don't expect 100mph everytime, but coming in throwing a 93mph straight fastball will get you hit hard. Trout and Pujols both hammered straight mid-90's fastballs.

That's Dustyball and you know it. Everyone knows compared to others that Heisey isn't Dusty's go to guy. I guarantee by the plate approach of everyone but Votto and Hanigan that Dusty emphasizes that shitty approach.

He walked, singled, sacrificed, SB and scored a run. If everyone has that game the Reds won't lose again.

And since retardedness was constantly spewed last year.....let me start some bullshit.

When Heisey starts this year the Reds are undefeated.

When Heisey scores the Reds win.

Go tell Thom Brenneman.

Really happy with the pitching staff during this series. The Rangers just set an MLB record by striking out 43 batters in the first three games. But they did that against the Astros. The Reds pitchers combined for 36 K's against one of the best lineups in the AL.

Pretty impressive.

Also, I took my sisters down to today's game. It was my little sister's first ever pro game. Glad she got to see a Reds win.

Votto at least has 4 walks, a game-winning hit and RBI in only 7 at-bats.

Hamilton is 0 for 8...2 walks.

Still very early...so it's kind of a dumb argument I guess.
