The Reds gave up on Janish at age 27...
Janish didnt look like he had much talent at the plate. Field it? Yeah, but his offense was abysmal and worthy of giving up on.
Stubbs looks like he has some great talent. When he is going well he looks terrrific. He has the tools, whereas Janish didnt.
Cozart is still young enough and the honeymoon period is winding down. If he continues to struggle, strike out then he too will get the treatment stubbs got.

If Cozart gets worse every year for a 3-4 year period, he'll deserve the same dislike Stubbs received. That was the problem with him. His rookie year was promising and then his offensive numbers declined in each of the next two seasons.
