Opening series is finally here. Both teams have a whole new lineup from last year.

Game1: Masterson vs Dickey
Game2: Jiminez vs Morrow
Game3: Myers vs Beurhle

I hope this game isn't like last year's game 1 debacle.

Facing a knuckle ball pitcher right off the bat sucks. Hopefully it doesn't screw up their timing for the next game. They have been known to do that.

I'm definitely more excited for the start of this season than I have been the last couple. Starting pitchers hold the key. The lineup is improved and the bullpen should be solid.

Atleast we have a few guys who have faced dickey a decent amount. Dk that should help a little bit

I think we can get to dickey and Beurhle. Morrow is always tough against us. I'm hoping just for some solid innings from our starters. This offense will score some runs

I do have to say that the postings of NCF, thedave and now footwedge have probably made the Indians possibly my favorite team that I'm not a true fan of. I feel almost compelled to cheer for them just to counteract the poison spewed by supposed members of their fanbase because they hate every single thing that's been done by the team over the past few decades, while always spinning everything so they're "right".

In a way, I wish NCF was still here, just so he could constantly rip on ownership for how they got nothing/little for Cliff Lee and Brandon Phillips. Despite how he hated both players when with Cleveland because they were involved in the Barfato Colon trade.

His sort of stupidity was so entertaining. We just don't have enough of that nowadays.

I was up there and watched them hang 16 on the Yankees in 2011. They chased Bartolo Colon after 0.2 innings.
