Florida and Michigan are very similar actually. Florida might be slightly better on D and has the experience factor, but it's a good match-up for UM.
Same with the Cuse, if they end up getting Florida. In fact, Syracuse has owned the Gators. They have beaten them I think 3 times in the last 5 years, and both schools have had comparable teams.

That's a pretty big assumption. Just sayin'Terry_Tate;1416770 wrote:I think Michigan is the best team on that side now and will be playing for the championship. Assuming they can handle the Syracuse zone. Trey Burke is unreal.

Anyone else pissed that MSU/Duke and Florida/FGCU are on at the same time? I know MSU Duke is going to be a quality game because of the teams and the coaches. But FGCU is just a must watch team after the first two games.

Florida/FGCU doesn't start for another 15+ minutes, so I'm not too bothered.Fly4Fun;1416776 wrote:Anyone else pissed that MSU/Duke and Florida/FGCU are on at the same time? Hell, halftime of MSU/Duke will probably just start. Shouldn't be too bad. UF/FGCU will either be a great game or a laugher...
Of all the cinderellas who make second weekend runs, when it ends, it usually ends ROUGH.

Burke would be the best player on the floor and McGary has been a stud. Hardaway is no slouch either so I like Michigan in that matchup.

Curry traveled before the goaltend. They decided not to show that part of the replay though.

They probably let it go since Curry took 2 steps and 2 hops before shooting it.Azubuike24;1416780 wrote:LOL...Payne. How the hell is that not called?

They are not coached by Tom Crean so I have faith in them.

Burke is going to be the best player on the floor no matter who they play. It takes more than that to win these games.Terry_Tate;1416781 wrote:Burke would be the best player on the floor and McGary has been a stud. Hardaway is no slouch either so I like Michigan in that matchup.

Then the proper thing to do would be to call the travel. LOLCleveland Buck;1416783 wrote:They probably let it go since Curry took 2 steps and 2 hops before shooting it.

I find it hard to believe Florida will give Michigan more problems in the paint than Kansas did. Also expect Hardaway to play better than he did tonight.

Michigan State's slopy ball handling and the foul disparity will be too much for them to overcome here.

McGary and Hardaway, plus GRIII. I think Florida's guards aren't very good and they haven't played a team as good as Michigan in a long time.

Some dumb fouls by Gator big men. Murphy and Yeguette within 20 seconds of each other. That's the one advantage UF has all night, getting them in foul trouble is great for FGCU.

Uf's bad free throw shooting could haunt them tonight.

Patric Young is playing awful too. He's got a dumb foul, 3 missed bunnies and missed a pair of FT's. He could get every rebound if he wanted...
Another oop...
