I hope the basket malfunctions and doesn't lower so that Ware can't get a piece of the net.
Edit: Damn.

I thought it was kind of funny when I saw 30/30 about Valvano practicing to cut the nets down. It actually doesn't quite go like I would have expected it to.

@BCastOZone: RT @SIPeteThamel Burke on the NBA: "I'm honestly not thinking about it right now. This game hurts so much."
Hate they ask this question right after the game. We all know he is gone.

Yeah. The one that should be questioning leaving is Hardaway. He had a terrible tournament.Tiger2003;1422088 wrote:@BCastOZone: RT @SIPeteThamel Burke on the NBA: "I'm honestly not thinking about it right now. This game hurts so much."

From a draft pick stand point this is true. I've seen different columns and quasi-studies saying that too much emphasis is put on tournament performance in determining draft position (either increases or decreases). So if a player does have a tough tournament they should question leaving as their stock could have taken a hit because of it. But from a talent stand point it really doesn't mean too much as opposed to their entire body of work.WebFire;1422131 wrote:Yeah. The one that should be questioning leaving is Hardaway. With the way college basketball is currently designed, pretty much the entire season is relatively meaningless and too much emphasis is placed on the tournament.

His body of work for the season wasn't that great either.Fly4Fun;1422136 wrote:From a draft pick stand point this is true. I think he could have a lot to gain. I think the only reason he does leave is the weaker draft this year. But with Burke gone next year, he can come back and be the leader of the team, have a good year, and be a legit first rounder.

I love the "hahaha you lost" OSU fans.
Them: "Hahaha you lost."
Me: "Where was your team playing last night?"
Them: "I'd rather my team have been at home watching instead of losing in the NC game!"
Smh.

I hate those fans too, Chiefs, but as Webbie said, the door swings both ways. For the record, as I said in '07, I'd rather have played in the NC game and lost than not to have played in it at all.GoChiefs;1422181 wrote:I love the "hahaha you lost" OSU fans.

Them: "Where was your team last night?"
Me: "They lost already, but I'm still happy UM didn't win it."
OR
To relate to the NASCAR fan in you, GoChiefs: "If you ain't first, you're last."
But I do agree that anyone who says they'd rather their team not be in the NC game instead of losing in it, that's just dumb. If you aren't there then you don't have a chance to win, UM had a shot. I respect what UM did in the tournament to make it there, but I'm glad they didn't win it all.

Peyton Siva getting completely grilled on Twitter.
Apparently, an escort has been Tweeting all morning about messages exchanged between her and Siva. Posting his messages, photos and phone information. Interesting, coming from a guy who has a reputation of being a pretty devout Christian and who has been in a relationship for almost his whole college career.
Gotta give him props. The chick is smoking...

Did a quick google search and came to this link with a few of the photos and messages. I wonder if he'll try the typical and lame "My account was hacked" defense or just own up to his mistakes.
