I get why he's mad. However, I agree. The media is part of the job.
What I don't really like is asking the players if they are leaving for the NBA. It's the poignant topic that fans want to know once their team is eliminated, but the answers are surely emotional and rarely mean anything.

Ah. I didn't see the conference, so I wasn't sure what the questions were. This sounds reasonable.killer_ewok;1421007 wrote:No, Doyel asked dumb questions.

Alright Mulva....I've got the comparison you'll take.
Nick Collison.....except Nick lost to Cuse....and mostly for his horrid free throw shooting....but made finals and lost
Rebounder first, good scorer, good passer, heady player, runs floor, bad bad free throw shooter.....Casper white, almost same size.

At this stage of their careers, I think Mitch McGary is a better Mugsy.

I like McGary's skills, but Collison actually developed a very solid mid-range game. Haven't seen it from McGary.Ironman92;1421010 wrote:Alright Mulva....I've got the comparison you'll take.

just my opinion. Gettin paid millions of dollars to represent the university, simple professional answer wouldn't be too much to ask.

He actually tried to be cool with Doyel after the initial reaction. Fuck Doyel anyways.
Bilas just said that was clearly a block (called a charge on Triche). Agree with that but MCW and Southerland laying eggs offensively is the real reason they lost.

Like when McGary said the other day, when asked if he was coming back, that he hadn't even thought about the NBA all year long and then laughed saying it was not even a question. Right. He has probably already picked out the color of the first Hummer he is going to buy.

The charge call at the Syracuse-Michigan game was possibly just as bad as the one called in the Ohio State game. This one might directly result in a national championship, though, for the team that benefitted from it.
That was the game. If Triche gets the call and Syracuse ties the game, they have the momentum and they likely win. Michigan looked like five Darius Washingtons out there at that point.

He could have but he didn't. He's been answering that question all year and his answer has been the same all year. After a close Final Four loss I would be a bit irritated too being asked the same question that I had definitively answered throughout the year.

He's the same as as most Juniors.
I like his game, but he doesn't have the same upside as most Freshman. He'll be lucky to have the NBA career Nick Collison has had...

Too many calls in a game to say the entire game was the result of one. The previous play Hardaway got mugged and no call. It goes both ways.reclegend22;1421021 wrote:The charge call at the Syracuse-Michigan game was possibly just as bad as the one called in the Ohio State game. So, what are everyone's predictions?
I think the Big Ten finally wins its first national title in almost 25 years. Louisville has nowhere near as balanced an offense that Michigan has and, if the Wolverines can handle the pressure, they will outscore Louisville.

I don't really remember Nick Collison in college, but as a pro prospect I think that's a decent comparison.Ironman92;1421010 wrote:Alright Mulva....I've got the comparison you'll take.

Things that scare me.
WSU had a game where the refs called the game you should against Louisville. Hacks, over the backs, reach-ins, uncontrolled drives, etc. I'm worried if UM doesn't get the same whistle, UL could hurt them. Siva and Smith get into foul trouble a lot, they have all season, and it really changes the game when they do...
Dieng, Blackshear and even Siva did very little, yet UL prevailed. While Henderson hit those 2 threes in the corner, again, I'm surprised UL was able to come back. Hancock also played better than expected, but still.
Michigan needs to be hitting outside shots and needs to force UL into a hack fest. It's obvious they miss Ware on the press, and getting either Siva or Smith in trouble will change the game.
I'm typically anti-B1G, but not Monday. In a similar sentiment from myself...Go BLUE!

Whoever wins, I think we're looking at a pretty decent game. Neither team clearly outmatches the other. Last year's final was one of the most anticlimactic in history. It was like Mike Tyson fighting Manny Pacquiao.

25 years? Michigan State in 2000 says otherwise

That MSU team was loaded in the backcourt.
Louisville was my champ from the start, so no reason not to go with them Monday. Behanan could have a field day inside with GRIII.
