This season looked dead a little over a month ago. This run was a ton of fun. Nothing less.

Thomas is what he is. Great scorer, terrible defender, tweener and not very athletic (relatively speaking). He's never going to be more than a fringe first rounder, so I really don't see a reason for him to come back, unfortunately.

Early kind of exposed Thomas a bit. He matched up with Thomas very well with his length and athletic ability.

Matta did a good job with this team, but anyone who thought this team was a first round exit was fucking stupid. No offense to anyone on here, haha. People overreacted big time to a road loss at Wisconsin, where just about everyone loses.

This team was always good enough defensively to compete with anyone. This was the worst Buckeyes team of the last few years, but as down as college basketball was this year it was still one of the top 10 teams in the country.

I have serious concerns about next year if DT leaves. THAT team might be a first round exit.

Deshaun is like a middle class mans Carmelo Anthony to me. He's not as good of a shot creator or athletic as Carmelo, but the dude is 6' 7", can score all over, and rebounds. He also won't be the #1 focus on an NBA team, so if he goes to a team in the late first round I see him having a very solid rookie year. Think he has more NBA potential than Sullinger, IMO.

I was SO close to turning it off when it was -20 pts. but it sucks that they couldn't play just a little better and win. Woulda coulda shoulda. Tonight sucks but tomorrow it the season won't be so bad.

There were times at mid-season when I thought the Buckeyes had tossed in the towel. I really thought they'd be one and done in the NCAA tourney and I definitely didn't see them winning the Big 10 tourney.

An Elite 8 appearance and a Big 10 tourney title ain't a bad season folks. The Buckeyes simply made bad shots in the first half and got out rebounded. End of the season.

Bring on the football season. ;)

1. Matta played Witchita St. small ball. He sat his bigs for 25 minutes straight and WS just cut the D up on the perimeter and when they got to the paint there was nobody there to stop them. Also the rebounding. Matta got outcoached.

2. Regardless of poor shooting, OSU hasnt been a deadly team all year, they gave up 70 to a MVC team. Dont come on here and claim that WSU was some powerhouse sleeper team. This team played nobody OOC, Iowa was their biggest win. Duke crushed the team that won their league. OSU played terrible D tonight. They gave up 70+ in 10 games this year. 4 of them in the tourney and they lost and they lost 6 of those games.

Youre a god damn moron. Just ignorant

1. Ohio States bigs played 22 minutes, so impossible they sat for 25 minutes straight. Nevermind the fact that with small ball OSU cut the lead to 3.

2. Nobody cares about Duke. Wichita State will lose by 15 to whoever they play in the Final Four.

Also, how can I be ignorant by post statistical facts?

Literally LOL'd at the irony here considering Rav and Amir played 22 minutes combined.

Ohio states bigs are terrible. Williams can't score on anyone. OSU at its best played small all tourney. When they made there run they played small. The fact is Matta can't make OSU make shots. They missed a ton of open looks. I don't see anyone claiming Witchita was some powerhouse. They didn't play their best and got beat...I don't put this on Matta

And at least 1 Big East team in the Final 4 and 2 if UL wins tomorrow. There was a lot of criticism of the conference after the 1st (technically 2nd) round.

Well, I guess Sir Charles might have gotten one thing right.

He certainly didn't get any names right. So far I have heard LeShawn Thomas, Yogi Pharrell (like the rapper), Jordan Hull (like part of a ship), Victor Olapido, Erin Ravenel, Jason Plumlee and Khalid Wyatt. He's great, though. I still have my black and my purple Barkley Phoenix jerseys. My favorite player outside of Reggie Miller growing up.

Without taking the time to look, I'd venture to guess the B1G has more wins than the SEC and Big East in the tournament.

Duke definitely seems to be a major underdog heading into tomorrow. I love that. Definitely takes some of the pressure off of Duke. That's great and how I prefer it.

Interestingly, Duke's only been the Vegas underdog in two NCAA Tournament games since 1994 -- UConn in 2004 and Kansas in 2003. Hopefully tomorrow turns out better than those two games, however.

I think the B1G has one more win than the Big East right now but that will change soon. I think the Big East potentially having 2 teams in the Final Four is pretty impressive. Especially considering how some were deeming the conference "weak" after the first two days of the NCAA's.

LOL, that clown has so annoyed me I came on here to ask if he's gotten anything at all right. Wait for him to make a prediction, then call up Vegas to bet the other end.

This whole game was a mess. It's like they felt they could put in a half ass effort and flip a switch late to win the game. The offense was obviously terrible, but they played zero defense for about 15-20 minutes spanning halftime. Then they flip the switch, but they were fucking down 20, so it was impossible to get all the way back. If they attack the rim and defend like they did the last 10 minutes for the whole game, they rout the Shockers. Hopefully the guys that come back learned their lesson.

I don't know who claimed they were weak, except maybe Sleeper the idiot. Even though it wasn't the best conference, those teams will always be tough. Having one great team and a team made for a single elimination tournament with their gimmick defense doesn't make the conference legendary either.
