FGCU is just playing great basketball. Unless Otto Porter starts turning it around I don't see GT having any chance at a comeback.

Roy is getting ready to sub a bunch of role players in too. If he wouldn't have sat Hairston on the bench the last four minutes of the first half for Desmond Hubert, this garbage wouldn't even be happening. This was a 32-12 game in favor of Carolina and now it's tied. Epic meltdown.

If FGCU doesnt turn it over, they will win. IF GT can force some TOs and get it close where the FTs become more pressure filled, this will come down to the wire.

Georgetown fell in love with the 3 and it isnt falling. They're definitely going to lose if they keep that up.

Would Georgetown entertain the thought of canning Thompson if they lose? It would mean six straight seasons without a Sweet 16 appearance, their longest streak since the pre-John Thompson Jr. era. Granted, he's had pretty good success in the regular season but still. Even possible?

I know most are watching OSU. But if you are like me with GT/FGCU and UNC/Nova...the last 45 minutes about have been perfectly synched up with media timeouts. I think Ive seen 90% of boths games combined the last 45 minutes lol.

I think their regular season the last 2 years were too good, and unexpected, to fire him. But I would entertain it lol.

As long as they dont turn it over, they win. GT doesnt have enough possessions to win without fouling, so it comes down to TOs (and subsequently making the FTs).
