I work with another woman, in her early 30s. She's easy to get along with but she can be a suckabitch sometimes. Last weekend she called off work for like 5 days being sick -- and she was actually admitted to the hospital, so I don't blame her. What irritates me is two days after getting released from hospital, she went on a 5-day trip to Vegas they had been planning.

It annoys me because I don't like setting bad expectations for my clients. That is why I had an employer who would not pay you for some of your vacation if you called in sick the day before or after you took a vacation, and I know some places wont pay holiday pay if you call in sick the day before or after.
