Just curious if anyone else had any projects planned. We had our two bathrooms completely remodeled last year. This year we are painting the exterior of the house and hopefully doing something with our deck.

I'm going to be repainting a bedroom, ripping out carpet and putting in laminate very soon.

We would ideally be doing the same thing. I'm ready to leave the city and move out to the country. We just aren't sure where we want to go yet.

Yep our time here in North Dakota is coming to a end.

Going to miss this view.

Probably a new roof.

Last year we took our very small kitchen and turned it into a full bathroom/laundry room. We took our large dining room area and made it into a monster kitchen. Well worth the money. November's casino "hits" paid for those projects nicely. :D

Painting the exterior of the house
Building a stone stairs from the patio to the back room
Building a stone flower bed
Building a small Greenhouse
Thinking about but no plans yet for redoing the two upstairs bathrooms and new kitchen counters/sinks

That should do it for me...

I might build a small greenhouse on the roof of our addition. I can access if from the window on our third floor and the roof is relatively flat.

We are getting ready to tackle the basement of our house. Now that we've taken care of the water issue, we're looking to rip down some walls and clean up everything down there. We're also going to fix up the half bath in the basement so that it's actually functional.

Justin...hope that painter works out well for you. If he gives you any crap, let me know.

I hope the wife and I quit renting.

We will be moving, sometime...somewhere. I hope sooner rather than later. I imagine we'll either be in southeast Ohio or central Kentucky.

I want to build a dresser/cabinet thing in my living room that looks nice but also have a mini fridge with temp/humidity control for proper cellaring of beer. I thought it was a nice way to compromise getting a second fridge to house my beer, and also be functional and not look like shit.

Shot down. :(

My daughter came up with this idea. I have 20 (6) window panel doors and a few old wooden sliding windows. I just build a frame for the doors and a pitched roof for the windows it would make a nice size Greenhouse with a ablity to open the roof windows ... gravel floor. Paint it white and done. 12x12 Greenhouse

There's some nice parts around Lexington. Heck, 5 minutes from the city, you can be in the middle of nowhere.

There are some nice perks to living there...but, then there's always the crappy education for the lil' ones (if and when there ever are any in my family).

We just bought a house. When Spring rolls around, I have to figure out something to do with the backyard. It's decent size, maybe a little bigger than half a basketball court.
