I watched it for the first time 3 years ago or so and I love it. I could watch it a few times a week.

eff me, I completely forgot about "The Man who Wasn't There" - very underrated film IMO.Sonofanump;1401339 wrote:Did not like Barton Fink or Ladykillers or Hudsucker. Oh brother was good, maybe #6 for me. Intollerable was not bad, but not a typical Coen film. Don't think I've seen any others.

Lotta stoners and sad sacks like the Big Lebowski for some reason. Very average cinema to us normal folk.

The Dude: Walter, the chinaman who peed on my rug, I can't go give him a bill, so what the $^#% are you talking about?
Walter Sobchak: What the $&%^ are you talking about? The chinaman is not the issue here, Dude. I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
The Dude: Walter, this isn't a guy who built the railroads here. This is a guy...
Walter Sobchak: What the $^#% are you...?
The Dude: Walter, he peed on my rug!
Donny: He peed on the Dude's rug.
Walter Sobchak: Donny you're out of your element! Dude, the Chinaman is not the issue here!

The Big Lebowski, if nothing else, proved how amazing Jeff Bridges and John Goodman are at acting.
As for my favorite movie? Id say Fargo and O Brother are the top 2.
