The Buckeyes will need to play suffocating defense to make any kind of tournament run. They are capable of doing it though, so hopefully they will. Defense is the reason you never see me bitch about Matta. He is a great defensive coach.

Congrats to the Bucks, they played harder, hustled a lot more, and were in more self-control than the Hoosiers.

OSU is a different team with Scott and Craft on the court together..... Craft played a great game tonight, along with others.

I see them going deep in the NCAA tourney, if they can play like they did tonight.

LOL. This is nothing. Only 3 speeches will help, but they are ALWAYS long and emotional. Kyle Taber had to have had one that took damn near 30 minutes. I almost ran out of recording space lol.

I love that they do it after the game, though this would be rough...A loss when you can clinch the B1G Title outright.

Yep. Jordan Hulls just finished. Might be the most emotional SR Speech Ive ever heard. And Ive heard quite a few. He cried for 25 straight minutes lol.

When Derek Elston took the mic I was thinking well that's cool, then 20 minutes later I was like, shouldn't he have been done 15 minutes ago? Lol. Is pretty cool though.

That's retarded. Why would they show their speeches?

They've thanked everyone that has ever coached them or been a part of their life. Think I've heard anyone possible except their kindergarten teachers.

Dereks was a little long winded, but mostly cause he talked about the same thing 5 different times lol.

With all due respect, it isnt for you all lol. Its for fans like myself. But I ask, Why not?

Lots. You couldnt talk for 25 minutes about your life and thanking people and the like? If I played bball in college I could EASILY fill 25 minutes recapping it all and thanking people.

Lol. I wouldn't even want to watch osu players do their speeches. Unless they were given a 3-5 minute limit. Anything more is ridiculous and rambling.

Well they were supposed to win the B1G outright tonight but...Just poor timing now I guess. Those seniors have seen a lot in their time there I won't watch it but I would maybe cut 'em some slack.

Well, iubb and Jordan Hulls are trending worldwide on Twitter right now.

This is tradition at IU. After the last home game every SR gets the mic for as long as they want. Place will be filled until the final word is spoken as well.

But why?? You've thanked those same people in speeches probably when you signed your Loi. I love hearing players talk but anything more then 5 minutes is over the top. No way that for 25 minutes you are interesting and not just thanking everyone you've ever met. Tell your favorite moment, a story, thank some people and move on. Seems way over the top.

That, but BTN also realizes its a business. Indiana has had, I believe, the 4 highest rated games on BTN this year and the 2 highest on ESPN. IU fans were worried that they wouldnt get to see the speeches live, because ESPN was covering the game (I think they have been on BTN Alternate in the past), fans wrote and called in, so BTN picked them up live on their network since EPSN is showing SC.

I think it's stupid they are covering it. But it doesn't matter. You don't have to watch if you don't want to right?

I mean, I think its stupid that they do those dumb segments on Michigan and OSU football during the fall. But just like IU basketball, that drives ratings for the network.

 In high school we had a golf coach all about the speeches. We were the first team in 18 years to make it to State, so of course our banquet wound up being 3 hours. Just too much

Also keep in mind, its BTN. Its that or The Journey for the 8th time since its original airing. I love BTN, but its still a second tier station. They dont have 24 hour programming like ESPN. So might as well fill time with stuff like this.
