About the only thing worse than that scenario would be if the Reds lost on Tuesday. I mean, having this team full of home-grown stars like Votto, Bruce, Cueto and so on who've brought the team back to prominence from an extended period of time that only looked "good" compared to the Pirates during that same span; add guys like Choo to help get over the hump...and all you'd have to show for it is a 3-of-4 year period of getting eliminated from the playoffs as soon as you entered it. I mean, how bad would it suck to have blowing a 2-0 lead in a best of 5 series to be the highlight of these guys' careers in Cincinnati?
