I perfer the Samoas.
The most popular are Thin Mints
Do-Si-Do (PNB sandwich), Samoas, & Tagalongs are #2-#4.
Samoas are #3? That is a travesty.

Baked Samoa donuts, Somoa cupcakes, Somoa bars, etc. Not that any of you will make any of these. But you can ask your lady friends.

#2-#4 are all really close in sales, none close to Thin Mints, #5 (Trefoils) is not close #4.

I can't believe thin mints aren't the runaway favorites.

We get about 4 boxes of thin mints every year. Handful at a time but I can power off a box with ease....but am a bit more sensible as I get older. When I was about 20 in college and working at McDonalds and my two boxes came in to me at work and I ate all 80 cookies. Lol (now there are 32 per box instead of 40)

The order amounts for the Berry Chip (Thank you Berry Much) and Carmel Chip (Dulce de Leche) are comically low.

My favorites are Do-Si-Do's, though Tagalongs are close behind, with Samoa's moving up the list (I used to hate coconut, but find myself liking it more and more each year). I have no use for any of the other flavors.

Unfortunately, my wife is the one who buys the cookies each year, she buys a ton as she used to be a Girl Scout and remembers selling them as a kid. Her selection is terrible, last year she bought something like 9 boxes of Thin Mints (which I hate, Mint is not an enjoyable flavor), 1 box of Samoa's, and 2 boxes of some Lemon flavored crap. The year before she bought a ton of Trefoils, we still have most of those sitting around. She's already ordered some for this year, and there better be some Do-Si-Do's and Tagalongs in the order this time...

My thoughts exactly. Just picked up my box from the neighbors Thursday.

I don't eat cookies anymore, but Thin Mints are too good. Perfect amount of mint and chocolate.

I think the top 4 are all probably pretty close to have an equal amount of people who like them the most. The difference is everyone enjoys thin mints it might not be their favorite but everyone likes them. The others all have people who think they are to sweet allergic or don't like coconut that hurt them. I would bet most people who's favorites are not thin mints would put thin mints second of their list.

It appears that I unfortunately might be the GS cookie expert here.

You are both correct, it is because there are two different cookie baking companies in the US, and both sell in Ohio depending on council.
Hence the two different names for essentially the same cookie.

Same thing applies to Samoas/Caramel delites, Do-si-dos/PB Sandwich, and Tagalongs/PB Patties.

We used to always get Caramel delites in Salem, but in Athens, Wooster it's Samoas.

Thin Mints out of the freezer is the only viable option to put in this poll.
