I know we have a 2013 NASCAR thread but figured we could have a separate thread just for the Great American Race. Green flag around 1:30 PM.

My predicted winner: Kasey Kahne

Top 5:
Kasey Kahne
Jeff Gordon
Kevin Harvick
Tony Stewart
Matt Kenseth

I would be surprised if the winner doesn't come from Hendrick, RCR, or SHR. Austin Dillon is my dark horse.

Nothing's happened yet. Two car tandem racing is a hell of a lot better than no change in the top 5.

Can't believe Kahne, Stewart, and Harvick are gone so early. Honestly thought that was 3 of the best 6-7 cars.

I hope she wins. Mainly bc I want her to take her clothes off but because they always spray champaign all over with hot models around. A little girl on girl action

Lots of single file racing pretty much all day. 20 laps in there was a train of 41 cars and 2 random cars running in a lower lane back toward the rear.

Thank god there's another round of pit stops, because no one is going to pass anyone otherwise.

If it stays green, the leader after the pit stops wins.

The experienced drivers are starting to take her to school here at the end. I figured she'd do fine until it came time to get crazy.

The yellow flew as Jr and company were about to run a train on her. It saved her position.

Danica was afraid to get freight trained by all the other drivers, she said in post race interviews.

Bet she's right. Nobody would have gone with her if she went low.

Hopefully the racing improves at the cookie cutter tracks. I'll sacrifice 4 boring plate races as long as those races are more exciting.

Props to Danica, but not hard to do when everyone is just running in a line.
