Ford f 150 super crew 4x4 or Toyota Tacoma double cab with trd sport package?

Anyone have any suggestions?

My dads two Toyota trucks are both running and both have over 350,000 miles on them. I test drove the ford tonight and it has alot of room in it. They are about 2k difference in price.

Hmmm, I like the newer F150s, but I'm partial to Tacos.

Go with the Tacoma.

Depends on what you want to do. Any hauling/towing? Ford all the way. Anything else? Ford.

Very different types of trucks. Since you are asking between "These" two trucks, you should take the Tacoma, since you obviously won't "need" the F150, you might as well take the smaller truck that holds its value very well.

Serious question.. New Cell Phone: Should I go with an Iphone5 or a Motorola Razr (Flip)?

Actually I am, which is why I said it depends on what he plans to use it for.

so.. any truck?

I owned a 2009 Ford 150 it's awesome for space, I thought it towed well, averaged about 18 miles a gallon. It does drive rougher though (at least rougher than a GM truck)

Tacoma & Frontier are very comparable, except with rebates generally Frontier will end up being 2,000 cheaper. (It towes more and is a "true" 4x4, tacomas, I beleive only spin 3 of the 4 wheels in 4 wheel drive)

I personally Dodge's suck, but the Ram did ride very smooth as well, and was comfortable.

I never drove a Ridgeline (which is a unibody)

I wouldn't touch a Titan.

I've narrowed it down to the f150 xlt super crew and Tacoma trd sport.

I really think you just need to drive some (if you havent) they all drive so different.

If you are considering a Tacoma or smaller truck, you may not like it as much after driving the full size "man" truck. Just so much more space in the Full Size.

It comes in an extended bed, just harder to find.

Your "everything else" comment threw me off. I agree, if frequent towing/hauling, Ford all day.

I threw that in cause I am a Ford guy, but was serious about depending on the use.

14 mpg and a small bed?

The new ones look pretty good though. I'm a little scared of the f150 seeing as how Zwick didn't come in and support it.

Good point ironman. I can't think of any.

Thats like asking whether you should get a Scion or a Taurus.

Obviously you don't need an F150 so get a Colorado.

I refuse to buy from a company that was bailed out by the tax payers.
