I like Mills to make it to the Finals over Gersham. Robinson @ 220 is for some reason not on the Radar. I think Parkham makes it 3 or 4 if he wins 2 on Friday...More to follow.

Think Mills has a good shot at being in the final. Tate has a good shot as well. Robinson at 220 may surprise people (should make semis and very possible finals). Ana Abduljelil is VERY good and shouldn't be overlooked at making the final at 113.

I agree Ana from Whitehall is really good but don't think he can beat Henderson will be a exciting match to watch. Don't know about Robinson though I would like to see him surprise me

Tate over Leppla would be a pretty huge upset.

Or over Steffany or Ray for that matter.
I'm a City League guy, I'm especially a Hannibal guy. He's rolled around with me and with my guys to many times to count over the years.

That's not a knock on him...Maybe motivation even. All the best.

Gershom beat Mills last year, however, Mills is a beast this year. You might be getting a little ahead of yourself, Gershom has to beat Hartshorn to get to semis.

viking pride, i think him being a senior will give him an edge because he will wrestle knowing it could be his last in high school and is his last year to make it to the schott so he has more to wrestle for imo

Mills has won @ Circleville, South H.S. Duels, New Albany Pools and Duels, Bishop Ready Winter Classic, Nelsonville York Invitational, CCL Championship, Licking Heights Sectional. His only Loss this year was to T. Williams (Northridge, 2012 State Placer), Through Sectionals last year he finished no worse than second in any tournament.

To say Hannibal beating ANY of those guys is an upset IS ridiculous and a knock at his ability! That's why they wrestle though!! ;)

Read this on another forum.....is this true?

"Story of tournament is Hannibal Tate of Mifflin beats Weineger of Dover then gets ejected after match for Flagrant Misconduct and creates a bye to Clayton Ray of Hamilton Township to qualify for state tournament already."

Later, I read this, "
Tournament Committee met and the Miffline wrestler was not ejected."

Anyone have the real scoop?

Also heard, Steffany was beating Workman handily and was called for an Illegal slam? Workman couldn't finish, gets the win?

Lots of drama at 152.

I wasn't there but was told Workman was winning 7-4 at the time of the slam, and that both boys were dazed by it.
