Terrence Ross' scores are ridiculous. These judges are beyond generous. A 50 is supposed to be difficult to achieve.

and I'm really kinda shocked Kyrie won the 3pt shootout. I figured Novak would run away with it, but I guess its just about who gets hot

I'm shocked Kyrie won as well. They should just scrap the dunk contest.

Huge Bledsoe fan. However, as discussed earlier in the thread, the dunk contest just isn't good. Hasn't been for years. You can't blame the participants. It is what it is.

I know he's a good shooter, not denying that in the least bit. But before tonight, would you of.took him in strictly A spot up shooting contest over the likes of Novak? that's the reason I'm surprised

That's my thinking as well. I thought not being able to shoot off a dribble would hurt Kyrie.

Dunk contest is a sham. Worthless trash contest; no wonder Lebron and other stars won't get involved.

38% to 42% 3pt %, not quite as good as Kyrie.

Ugh, I think this is three times in the past week we've agreed on something.

But ya, the dunk contest is a joke. I don't fault any real all-star for not wanting to participate.

But that's the reason it's a joke. The participants change EVERY year it seems, if you had the stars in the contest every year, it would build rivalries and interest. The dunk contest has always been about hype.

Yes, absolutely. We're talking about a guy who is an 86% free throw shooter (90% in college). He's shooting 42.5% from 3.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him go crazy in the all-star game tonight.
