Terrible. And if his story is true. Even more sad.

Makes you kind of feel like a jerk for rooting for this jerk.

I'll never trust anyone missing limbs.

Legally, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

If it truly was an accident it doesn't make me feel bad about rooting for him.

He's going to need some close family and friends to lean on at a time like this.

The UK newspapers have pictures, she was absolutely beautiful. South Africa is a very dangerous country, but I don't know how he would mistake her for an intruder. Such a tragedy.

He's been charged w/ murder. Police say they've responded to calls of 'incident of a domestic nature' before this.

He lived in a neighborhood that people say is almost impenetrable and has very tight security.

Could be more to this

There was a sympathy theory to this story initially because of who Pistorius is.

The facts are starting to come out that don't make him out to be such a good guy.

Yeah, generally I'd think the shooter might say 'stop, I have a gun" to the intruder.

Not only that, but in South Africa people like Pistorius live in compounds. Electric fences, super high level security, etc. I can't imagine a friend (let alone a girlfriend) just going through security without alerting the homeowner.

I think I have a pretty good idea who my girlfriend is and would have a hard time mistaking her for a cold-blooded killer and putting bullets in her head.

But that's just me, ever the skeptic.

Sad for her though, she was a beautiful woman.

Something is weird about all this. Why are they charging him with murder if it was truly an accident? I have a feeling there's more to the story. I heard that the police never came out with the surprise Valentines surprise. Someone else is putting that out there.

Yes she was going for the ol 'im gonna sneak in and pretend to murder him but really its going to be a surprise!' Meanwhile homeboy legless has a gun locked and loaded in his pajama pants pocket ready for any intruders in his impenetrable house/neighborhood.

I'm not buying it

He shot her twice once in the hand and once in the head. It also sounds like he been in trouble with the police before for arguing with her.

South Africans don't celebrate Valentines Day so the surprise angle is complete BS.
