Those Oregon "costumes" look absolutely ridiculous. Talk about form over substance. Do any of these wanna-be-robot-gladiator models realize how stupid they look - especially with the obligatory "final" pose with the hands put together to show the school logo? Reminds me of the lunch box wars from grade school where the coolest design changed daily. Only difference is those were friggin' third graders.

No need to start a whole new thread about this for the three people that care anyways...but Notre Dame is probably ending the contract with Adidas at the end of 2014. Looks like both Nike and Under Armour are making a play for the contract. Everything I've read online looks like Under Armour is going to get the contract.

Kind of blows too. Apparently part of Nike's pitch was that ND would be outfitted in brand Jordan gear.

I believe Michigan's deal with Adidas is over next year, I've read they're def going back to Nike.

Saw this tweet from Rovell earlier, kind of fascinating...
51 of 70 college football teams in bowl games wearing Nike. 9 out of 10 in the BCS games.

Nike gets jerseys though, Adidas has really made some absolutely terrible ones in both basketball and football in the last few years
