To borrow wrestling terminology (as both are equally fake), he was the "heel." I concur. They tried a guy in the first episode who they called "The king of Palmdale" who came in and bought over half of the units like Dave would from time to time and then he wasn't in the second episode. In the second episode they brought in two cats who were in a previous episode but not as buyers. Barry took one of his items to them to be appraised. I think they will find out they should've worked something out with Dave. Oh and it also doesn't help that Brandi never wears low cut shirts anymore.
