Definitely not in the storage department. Apple's SSD pricing is outrageous.

I was just stating the price. Don't turn this into that argument. The MBA is a great notebook, but 11" is just a bit too small for me.


Kinda random, but just reading some reviews about the Surface Pro and they were comparing it to the MBA in regards to the price point. It looks pretty slick. I really have no use for one, but if I ever had a job where I was supplied a laptop I would definitely see if the Pro were an option.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am taking the suggestion on talking to someone a I know about them. Hoping he can help narrow down my choices. Again thanks for all the responses.

My plan is to replace the HDD with an SSD for much better performance.

But would it be worth it? You'll lose a ton of space and you're dropping at least $100 for a 128gb SSD.
