Just a petpeeve of mine. I hate going to Walmart (but it's about the only local option) and everytime I do I see some 400 lb chick with bleach blond hair wearing sweats that are two sizes too small with the words "juicy" on the back and a "Roethlisberger" jersey on riding one of those things.

Take your hatred for Big Ben and fat chicks to their own designated threads. This is a thread about my Plantar Fascitis!

And to think, I was trying to defend you from the implication that you needed a motorized scooter. Hmmmmf...

I suggest that you skip the bonus round of plyo. You should see me take it strong to rim after doing that for a few months.

I actually have an appointment at the VA next month. Maybe I'll bring this up. Do they have the good shit, or will they just give you Tylenol? :)

Yeah..those things are pretty sweet for people instead of using crutches. Buddy of mine broke his ankle pretty bad one summer and used one. Coached with it and everything.....we used to do time travels at the bar with that damned thing late at night.

I had this last year. If you can find a massage therapist who does a plantar Fascitis massage. My pain went away almost immediately and stayed away for around 10 days. I went in for a second massage and pain was gone again and haven't had a problem since. I also used crutches and stayed off it as much as I could. The massage was a life saver though.

They also gave me some stretches and activities to help recover faster. I know some were rolling a frozen golf ball around under my foot to help with swelling. When the pain got better I had to pick up pens and pencils with my toes and then a bunch of basic stretches .

A whole lot better today. Didn't tear it after all thankfully. Just a good sprain. Can get my shoe on today at least. Got a bunch of foot exercises to do. I was really hoping to get prescribed a rascal or a hovaround.
