Yeah..there is no reason to have regular delivery on saturday anymore.
Important stuff such as checks and things like that are now direct deposited into whatever accounts.

Hey! I'm Ok with this ... I would even go with only three/four delivery per week .... for residential 3 days and 4 delivery per week for business. Check is alway in the mail :laugh:

I'd be fine with mail being delivered 1 or 2 days a week. Essentially, unless we've ordered a package, all we get is junk mail and account statements.

I'd love to not get mail honestly. Packages, cards with $ and magazines is the only thing I want coming in the mail. I throw 90% of my mail straight into recycling.

Those are two activities I have no reason to perform more than once per month.

Yep. If I'm not waiting for something I ordered, there's no purpose to even walk down to the mailbox, as it's all junk.

I get paid weekly and it comes through the mail. They dont direct deposit for an independent contractor, unfortunately.

I've found this the case when independently working for Unionized companies. Instead of setting up direct deposit they'd rather cut a check.

Implementation of this has been delayed thanks to our wonderful Congress adding a provision into a spending bill to prohibit the move to 5 day mail.

Earliest it can happen now is the end of the Fiscal year (9/30), and I'm sure the retards will tack it onto their next short term spending bill since they're also too retarded to compromise on anything in order to pass a budget
