I cant find the .6 needed for a full shot, but if it ISNT that much time, its at least .4 and that is a reduction from years ago when I am 99% positive it was .6 (Jerry Stackhouse was the reason in a playoff game for Detroit I think).That change will be particularly useful when the shot clock is at one second or less. A player is not allowed to catch and shoot with .3 seconds or less left on the clock. Only a pass and tip-in is allowed with that little time left.
