You will get 1 more TD I think, but not 2. Probably not to Welker either...lol

Wow that is putting all of your eggs in one basket. Not sure I like that move, but has probably worked out alright. And yeah, it's nice to have the lead, but hopefully he at least gets some yards to put it over 2 points, lol.SportsAndLady;1521098 wrote:No worse feeling than where you're at right now. I'm already out unless manning throws 2 more TDs to welker lol I knew I was gonna lose to this guy because he counters my manning 40 pts a game thing since he has Thomas Moreno Thomas and decker

Yeah it's crazy but worked out for him okay. He's now 5-2 same record as me. Although I've scored 135 more points than him lolTerry_Tate;1521103 wrote:Wow that is putting all of your eggs in one basket. Not sure I like that move, but has probably worked out alright. I have Peyton, decker, Thomas and Thomas in 1 league. It's worked out very well. But I'm still 2-4 with a toss up going into MNF this week (up 22 vs adp)

Fan of Peyton and was hoping he would throttle the Colts on sunday night. He ended up with pretty good stats, but I have to admit alot of this throws and such until late in the game looked like how he performed in the big playoff games. Balls fluttering, not on the money to closely guarded guys like most of his throws in the other games........
Almost looked like the torch was passed yesterday. Luck looked poised for the most part and even though his numbers dont reflect it thought he outplayed Manning.
The opening was all class with the applause and how PM handled it.
Colts did to PM what others in the past had done against him and been successful and that is put pressure on him. That really has been how to defeat him over the years, like most QBs. Quick pressure and dont give away too early what you are doing. Thing is.....Colts played tight coverage and didnt seem to allow Manning to use his vast knowlege of reading coverages to be able to pick out pre snap who should have the best matchup. Colts pretty much much lined up, got pressure from the front 4 and made manning place it into tight coverage.
And he still threw for 400. Shows how great PM is when he puts up what he did and lose.

I know early on in training camp some of the pundits were wondering if it had anything to do with the lack of practice and hitting that teams are having nowadays. You can only get your body prepared for football so much and to get it really ready you need the physicality of practice and much of that is gone.
Are guys breaking down now because they were not properly built up in training camp?

Hard to say. The Cushing and Hall injuries were freak things. Just landing the wrong way and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
With the Martin and Wayne injuries, I'm shocked those 2 things don't happen more. With the way guys tackle/lower shoulders (shoulder/labrum) and cut/shift on the move (ACL), it's no wonder there isn't one of these a game.

Cushing was bound to get hurt again. I wasn't shocked in the least bit when I saw him laying on the field. Didn't he get busted for roids?

Yes, he did. And Leon Hall has torn an Achilles before too. So, you never know if both were more prone to what happened.
Reggie Wayne, on the other hand, has basically been invincible his whole career. He's played all 16 games in the past eleven seasons.

and it took a bad throw and an awkward attempt for Wayne to get hurt.Azubuike24;1521305 wrote:Yes, he did. And Leon Hall has torn an Achilles before too. So, you never know if both were more prone to what happened.

It would be interesting to hear from some medical experts on some of this stuff on if there is any correlation between less 'football' related moves/contact = more injuries. I dont think it is out of the realm of possibitilies to believe that less hitting and less getting the body ready to make these cuts/hits does equal more of a chance at getting hurt.

The last time Reggie Wayne didnt play for the Colts, Andrew Luck was 12 years old and Jim Mora said "PLAYOFFS!??!" after the game.

I've had horrible luck with my fantasy team this year.
Shane Vereen
Doug Martin
Owen Daniels
Danny Amendola
Have sat/will sit the majority of the year.
Eddie Lacy also sat for two or three games.
I also had Michael Vick on my roster who I managed to unload a week before he got hurt.
Look for Darren Sproles or Tom Brady to get hurt next week.

Maybe if Brady gets hurt it might finally get people (like me in 2 of my 3 leagues) to bench his sorry ass! I mean a guy who was a top 25 pick in most leagues has posted THREE games with single digit points (in standard format leagues). Those 2 leagues I finally started Russell Wilson and Andy Dalton this week and won't be looking back!dlazz;1521319 wrote:I've had horrible luck with my fantasy team this year.

I'm contemplating sitting his ass next week in favor of Pryor.

Every other team puts him an imaginary red jersey before every play. They want him out there as many plays as possible.Tiernan;1521452 wrote:Browns fans are saying - damn 7 QBs go down in one week and fkn Weeden survives unscathed.
