Pushed carts a Super K-mart... really wasn't that bad though. Its just the worst one I've had. Every other Job I've had I enjoyed. Love my current job.

I worked at a book factory for three summers. The money was decent and a lot of my friends also worked there, but the work was hard, it was very hot and we had to change shifts every six weeks. Second shift sucks balls. Plus, some of the supervisors were huge assholes.

I like the actual work at my current job, but my boss is an idiotic jerk. Some days are truly miserable, but the hours are great, I like most of my customers and there are some good perks (like being able to surf the internet all day).

Weird, I have never heard you complain about your boss. You hide it well.

I worked in a metallurgical factory for one summer, terrible job. Reminded me to do something I liked and stay in school. Everyone there, except my dad, was about as miserable as can be. It was a drag to go to work. It was the most dirty, dangerous job too. A year after my work there, one of my coworkers died after he got 90% 3rd degree burns on his body. He just got back from his honeymoon too. Terrible.

My current job, I love doing, but I despise my superior and institution. Unfortunately, I'll probably be seeing some sort of career change...sucks.

My freshman year of college a mutual friend hooked me up with "Dial America," a telemarketing group that sold magazine subscriptions and a small % of the sale went to 1 of 3 charities. It sucked. I hate telemarketers, and I was one. People were always screwing with me and I had to keep my cool. They didn't know I had their home address loaded on the computer when I was calling....the day I threatened to drive to "238 Thompson Street in Muncie, Indiana" and shut his "fucking mouth for" him...well that was my last day. (Address made up because obviously I don't remember)

I was "guest services worker" at our local community pool in HS. That was just a euphemism for pool bitch. Didn't mind any of the hard work other than cleaning the bathrooms.

They constantly smelled like piss and shit no matter what I did (the plumbing had to have been faulty), and the real treat was when some a-hole teenager would shit in the sink or jam a pop can in the toilet before dropping a duece and I would have to scoop that out.

Good times for $6/hr.

Sounds a lot like my job. The work itself is OK, but there are days where my boss has me really scratching my head.

Sold battery-powered fire and CO alarm systems door-to-door to Amish families. I was actually good at it, but it was not fun at all.

Cleaned fish at Bombas on Marblehead one summer. I swear my hands smelled like fish until October.

...of course I was gettin' alot of tail from the Cedar Point full timers too, so the smell could a been a combo.

In the early 1990s, I worked at a sawmill/handle plant in Delaware, OH. It was where they made wooden handles for garden tools. Basically they'd take huge ash logs, cut them down and turn then to whatever size/thickness was needed. The place wasn't the greatest and i wasn't the worst. What sucked about it was that it was second shift from 3-midnight. I've worked third shift before and I'd take that any day over seconde shift. You basically check out of the world when working second shift. You never see anyone outside of work, your social life is halted, etc. I found it extremely depressing and after a year decided that I needed to make a change.

In HS I worked at our park in the summers. Started at $1.80/hr but the second summer it went to $2.20. Really enjoyed the job as I did the diamonds, baseball, basketball, etc so it was fun.

Everyone though was required to work one shift on bathroom duty at the community picnic in august. Luckily I got the 5pm shift but if you got the 11 or midnight shift..those bathrooms got pretty nasty.

I've had a few that sucked.

After my freshman year of college, I got a job working nights loading beer trucks. I loved it, until my pallet jack slipped in some water in the loading area and slid out and I broke my leg. I was on light duty for the rest of the summer, which meant I worked nights taking broken cases of beer, cleaning off the bottles that weren't broken, and putting them into new cases. It was so boring.

After my sophomore year of college, a family friend got me a job on a cleaning crew at an aluminum plant that he worked for. Had to leave at 5am to get there, and didn't get home until 5pm. Spent the days wiping oil off the machines and cleaning the bathrooms. Sucked.
