Correct DeSales vs. South Score should be 48-30, our 138 had a knee injury, DeSales had the forfeit not us.

Darby is definitely loaded and a tough team to beat. Yes they were missing a few wrestlers when they wrestled Hayes but Delaware started 4 freshmen and 1 junior who had never wrestled before that night. They were also missing their starting 220(Wooten - Jr. High State Placer) who blew his knee out during football and has missed the entire season. Both teams at full strength I believe Darby wins but it would be a good dual. Delaware has come a long way and their best is yet to come. They only have 1 senior on the roster and a good middle school team keeps adding to their depth.

Think their dual run comes to an end next week versus Lexington. Whitehall is a great program, however, and represents DII very well in the post-season!

thorton and wilkerson are pretty tough so I could see that for sure. Smithy has been in the line up all yr so he is not aaverage back up when uroll everyday at mville. Wilkerson has been out w injury for a while so thats why u may not have heard much from him. Thorton sat behind sparks and ramahni last yr and is having a good yr.

Im very impressed with Delaware this yr. Especially being so young. Definitely a team to recon with!
As far as injuries well Darby has had its share. Since you mention a kid that was out for the yr(from football) I might as well mention we lost our Sr 285 at the start of the yr too. He was 300 lbs too and we replaced him with a small 230 lb soph. Someone mentioned Booth too. Heard a rumor he might be back next week!

haha, no remember, i'm the guy who said watkins would beat them! lol. didn't really want to remind you guys about that but oh well.

(and i still think watkins would have had a shot if they hadn't given them 18 points in forfeits and had lieb, lancia and scott on the mat.)

I think Smithey has been at 32 and at 38 when Forrider wrestles up. I also think he saw quite a bit of varsity time last year as well, but I could be wrong.
