In fairness to us, just because you've "paid your dues" (as if being a fan of a sports team requires hard work, blood sweat and tears, etc.) doesn't mean you can just do other things during Browns games and still call yourself a super fan.
Sorry, but not watching Browns games because you'd rather put your money through a paper shredder in West Virginia doesn't make you a good fan. If you're losing interest in the team, just say it BR. Don't beat around the edges and use the "I'd rather go win money and watch part of the game!" excuse.

I like you BR, but I have to agree with s&l. If you are losing interest in the team, then just say it. You don't need to be passive-agressive about it. It is pretty understandable for an older fan such as yourself to lose interest after much misery.

I was just sticking to Browns fans, since BR mentioned the "good old boys club/clique." I wouldn't consider wildcats in that group, since he isn't in on the Browns discussion as much as you, coa, or myself.SportsAndLady;1379120 wrote:Eh, wildcats did say this:

When did I self proclaim myself a "super fan." Oh right, I didn't. If YOU want to label me that, it's on you, not me.SportsAndLady;1379109 wrote:In fairness to us, just because you've "paid your dues" (as if being a fan of a sports team requires hard work, blood sweat and tears, etc.) doesn't mean you can just do other things during Browns games and still call yourself a super fan.
Sorry, but not watching Browns games because you'd rather put your money through a paper shredder in West Virginia doesn't make you a good fan. If you're losing interest in the team, just say it BR. Don't beat around the edges and use the "I'd rather go win money and watch part of the game!" excuse.

Lol, please. 15,000 posts on here, probably 12k of those on a Browns thread. You scour the internet for Browns articles, news, info, etc. You get all pissy every time someone doubts your fanhood. Just because you don't directly label yourself a super fan doesn't mean you don't come off as one.BR1986FB;1379128 wrote:When did I self proclaim myself a "super fan." Oh right, I didn't. I would never label you a super fan considering the elements. More like an old bitter guy who is so miserable w/ how the team has been lately that you'd rather do other stuff than watch/go see the games.

Secondly, I know enough about casinos to know that's how they suck you in. Let me know how much of that you've lost in May when the machines "go cold" aka the casino management has you right where they want you and start turning the jackpots off for you.
