Fail. Thanks Nike, stick to screwing up Oregon's look. Well keep our awesome scarlet/white jerseys and sweet sparkling-grey helmets!!

Look I'm all for throwbacks. But you cannot MODERNIZE a throwback that defeats the whole purpose.

I love Nike (mostly) but they have to stop messing with sports tradition in order to make money!

I wonder if the contracts these schools have with Nike require them to do this bs?

The only way they make more money by doing this is to sell jerseys in the team shop and stuff....however I doubt that will happen since this is only a one time deal.
All the more reason people will buy them. Especially if they win.

I don't like them for the simple fact they aren't anything close to what the 54 uni's looked like. Way too modern.

Does anybody think that after the forthcoming outrage tomorrow (that is bound to happen by the Old timers who support the school) that OSU will back away from the throwbacks? and just use the usual road whites? I can see this happening

Money talks, so no.

Nike is paying OSU to adopt these for the one game.

Thank goodness it is just for one game. Those uniforms are terrible.
