I heard he has wrestled 138 only once this season, but you could be correct.

my guess is 38... his chances vs bast, hefferman and forrider are much better than vs. bright, ryan and marcelli IMO, especially since he already beat bast...

I don't think Alexander will beat Forrider. Alexander is very athletic but Forrider is too solid for him

I don't think Alexander SHOULD be Forrider, but I certainly think Alexander COULD beat Forrider. Much stranger things have happened in this sport.

Won't even be close, Forrider toyed with Bast at Top Gun, Alexander was lucky to beat Bast at Delaware. Marysville is well prepared for these types of matches

Well I guess we will find out... I would love to re-visit this particular quote after the match... ;)

I bet against Forrider last year and went with Ryan(OL) and that didn't work out for me. Can't bet against a kid that has done everything right on the mat. Dominates kids he should, beating up studs around the state. Nothing against Alexander because I think he can definitely be a placer at the Schott in March. Very athletic and hard to prepare for.

A little similar to Dake-Taylor matchup. I'm a big Taylor fan and am rooting for him to beat him, but Dake is 3-0 in the past year, including freestyle. Hard to bet against Dake when he's done everything right. Thats a totally different topic and I'm sure will be brought up in time.

Already working on it my man! Should be all the way done ready to post in the next few days.

I think Whitehall wins big at Licking Heights and Licking Valley wins at Home. Hows buckeye Valley look>?

My guess is that they were looking at their entire teams, not the 138 lb. weight class only.

Not taking anything away from Northlands, and Gahanna other wrestlers but I would be looking in Alexander's and Mcdougles best interest. They are probable state placers.

If I thought my kid was a potential state placer, I wouldn't be that concerned who he faced at Sectionals. Plus, it's not as though Northland, as the 37th seed, had a lot of say in where they ended up. And, facing the toughest kids in your sectional means you'll be away from them at Districts.

there are definitely other kids in the CD who can beat miller and mccougle. don't punch thier ticket to the states just yet lol... heck sectionals ain't even started! lol. and one of those kids is also at this sectional: Comfort

that said, i can understand northland's logic of going there to have alexander face forrider for the reason you stated (just don't agree it applies to the other two so much...)

Normally I'd agree.....

By choosing to go to Marysville (host school) though, Northland pretty much knew exactly what they were going to get (unless they got bumped).

That brings up a question.....D1 coaches......did any teams get bumped at the end? Heck.....maybe Northland got bumped to Marysville?

A few got bumped. FH, WC maybe. Whetstone I think. I have my list at school. Pretty confident on those three though.

Thanks....by looking at the numbers, I thought some school(s) must have been bumped from Westland, since #32 is the lowest number there.

I'm pretty sure the first to fill was Watkins. I guess they miss Eddie Jayne.

So what you are saying is that Comfort (who went 2 & out at districts last year) is going to knock Mcdougle (placed 4th in the state last year) out at sectionals. That my friend is a very bold prediction.

lol... i didn't predict that! haha. That my friend is a very bold twisting of another man's words! lol my point is comfort is a contender, like several other in central district, and i think he, and others, CAN beat miller for sure, whether i think he WILL is another story.. lol..

no i do not think comfort can or will beat mcdougle on his best day barring something really freaky happening...

do i THINK the top four at darby are wrestling at marysville in a couple weeks? maybe. the top three for sure.

am i so sure of that that i'm ready to just tell all the other central kids to stay home? lol NO!

Just curious....who has Comfort beat that puts him as being considered one of the top four in the District? Don't know much about him.
