And Series...newspapers report stats and in-game performance only. They don't call a kid overrated or talk about how poorly he played anything of the like. They don't have an "All Overrated Team" either. That comment from the Lex poster is over the line....I know it's not you who said it, but to even attempt to justify is poor form.

"in-game performance"...sometimes you have a good or great game and sometimes you have a mediocre or poor game. If a player had a poor game, how can you not report it? The newspapers are supposed to report it from an "un-opinionated" standpoint. However, here on OC, we can and do post our opinion.

The Lexington poster did that. Again, if he would have said he was "under-rated", would that have been wrong to say or "over the line"?

The problem is that some don't want to see the naked truth when it isn't very pleasant, whether it is truth or opinion!

My justification is "poor form" because I defended his right to say it whether or not "YOU" agree with it.

So it's cool to make comments about players ability on this site now as long as it's deemed an "opinion" but stated as fact? Assuming that must mean coaches are fair game too, right? Of course it does....

My my how things have changed. Remember when you and your cohorts would shut down threads on JJHuddle and email the superintendent (take it the top, remember?) on the mere suggestion of any negativity regarding a certain former coach? Surely you remember those fun times??

Now it's acceptable because "your guy" isn't a coach anymore?? Got it.

I have always felt it to be "cool" to comment about a players ability whether it is a perceived opinion and especially if it's true. How can you talk about sports of any kind at any level and not talk about the players involved. And yes, that would also include the coaches! I didn't care that you "commented" about the former coach, much of it just wasn't true.

And here again we have more untruth by you. "Me and my cohorts"...I've never alone or in participation with anyone on JJ or OC had a thread shut down, nor have I ever emailed the superintendent regarding any suggestion of negativity or accusation about anyone including the former coach. Add to that, Ive never read the "posted accusation" that caused the stir back then.

You think that because we agreed on many conversations contrary to your "blinded" opinion I was involved in that but you're wrong.

So...just as you ceased from posting pre-game commentaries in the last few weeks of football, why don't you "evolve" to cease posting here also since you have nothing but lies to post!
