I could care less about an apology. It was nice to see a Mod being a Mod and taking control of the situation.

Old Frothingslosh. I still love their slogan the best, " The Pale stale ale with the foam on the bottom". Wasn't Fatima Yeckburg their spokes person?

Excellent! I'll add Iron City to the list of independent Domestic Mecrobrews.

Had a Genesee Ice last summer before heading off to the dirt track races. It fit the mood well and was nice and cold! Would drink again.</SPAN></SPAN>

This thread is about domestic independent mecrobrews, not about giving a fuck. If you want to talk about giving a fuck, go start your own thread.

Why did you click on the thread if you did not give a fuck?

Just made a pit stop to Founders brewery in Grand Rapids. Very cool place with good food. Had the Tellicherry Peppercorn Pale Ale which was very good and unique. The Backwoods Bastard was 10.2% was my favorite. A really nice bourbon aroma with a very smooth finish. I also had the Main Guy Mango, a wheat beer brewed with mango's. Better suited to the summer as a lawnmower beer but the first beer I have had with mango fruit. The mango's are not overpowering, just a hint the way I like it.

Very reasonably priced, great atmosphere with a big stage for entertainment. Very well done and would recommend. Easy to get to off highway 131.

Talk of Founders needs to be moved to the "beer snob" thread. Thank you!! :) Founders is great by the way.

I.E. Pabst, Genesee, Yuengling, Hudepohl, Pitt Iron City discussions are welcome.

Not sure if Boston Beer Sam Adams belongs here or on beer snob.

Schaefer is the one beer to have when you’re having more than one.

Thought I did post on right thread.

I think Founders was named first or second best craft microbrew in the USA.

I believe they are the top brewery in Michigan on the Rate Beer rankings.

I had a Hude Light about 12 years ago. Not impressed.

Schaefer Light was usually in our fridge growing up. Never poured it into snifter or pint glass or let it warm up, straight fromthe can ice cold, did not want dad to know his 14 year old was bogarting his brew.

Yes (Pabst) & I think. Hamm's is still independent, but marketed and sold by MC.
