To end a half, you can fair catch that kick and attempt an uncontested FG from the spot of the fair catch

The R was looking right at it, when the punter ran out of bound, no need for a flag.

Actually I'm not 100% sure, can you try the FG off a tee? If so, that's gonna add at least 5-10 yards to the kick. Akers can't kick it straight, but he's got a 60-yard leg...

Not sure what part of my post said there should be a flag, but thanks, I guess.

In high school it is any time after a fair catch or an awarded fair catch after kick catching interference. Not sure on NFL.

On a normal punt you can fair catch it and try a free kick for a FG from the spot, but can you do the same on a punt free kick after a safety?

Ginn caught the ball at the 20. 60 yards isn't gonna do it.

Off a tee, you can easily drill it 70 yards. Obviously it depends on the situation and where the punt lands...

Agree. At the beginning of the game his kickoffs were 8 yards deep. After getting hit, they are at the 2 yard line. So I think 60 yards it best case for him off of a tee.

Speaking of hell, I hope Ray Lewis fucking melts as soon as he arrives there.

And I concur completely with WebFire re calling penalties at the end of a game. It's unadulterated bulls---. If the officials are not willing to make that call in the final minutes, then they are not doing their goddamn job.

Duke got similar treatment against Indiana in the 2002 Sweet 16, when, after a Jason Williams missed free throw with four seconds left, Carlos Boozer got attacked by two assailants in IU jerseys. No call. Game over.

I feel for Jim Harbaugh. Losing to his brother, especially in that fashion, had to be pure hell.

Do we have a over/under on how many times Ray Lewis mentions God in his interview?

Mike Pereira ‏@MikePereira Tough play that is real close both ways. Good job not calling anything.

Agree with Sims. There is a quick grab and a pushoff. Not one that is going to be called. Nothing obvious in real time.
