Keep reaching with that. You stepped into the real world yet you still spend your nights in shitty nightclubs, getting ripped off on gross beer. Your real world is what everyone else calls "college" apparently.

LOL. No, just think beer snobs with their newly dubbed "macro brews" are absolutely retarded. It's boredom that does it; you have nothing to live for so you find shitty beers that no ones heard of and because you don't see them on TV they are somehow special or better. Sorry, but no fucks are given that you drink beer that no ones heard of, you've been duped by subtle marketing tactics to get you to think these beers are "better" and thus deserve a higher premium.

You can't fix stupid; you just hope they don't vote and they die off before they breed too much.

As for the OP, I'll give it a try.

I didn't even know they still produced American Ale, that stuff is turrible.

It really is. I'll drink that every day of the week instead of finding beers that no one has heard of and pretending its better because I am a self-proclaimed beer expert and I know beer and what's good and what's not good.

I'm willing to give almost any beer a chance so I tried the Project 12 beers and none of them were very good. Paying almost $13 (even for 12 pack) is a joke.

As far as business practices, you ever wonder why the big beer monopoly companies get the best, most visible shelf spaces at stores? Do a little research for yourself, it might surprise you. Ever wonder why not all craft beer can be sold in Ohio or why the alcohol content can't be over a certain percentage? The big beer operators have a vested interest in keeping old probation era laws on the books.

As far as quality, compare the ingredients of a average craft beer to Bud, Miller, or any of the other shitty beers they produce. Any beer that includes rice or corn is not worth drinking unless you enjoy drinking piss water. The major brewers use the cheapest stuff they can find and spend lots of money on advertising to convince you to buy their watery product. Take a look at this link. The relative cost of commercial beer to the consumer is 70% marketing, packaging, and taxes!

Maybe those micro brews should produce a better quality product at a better price. They are just mad because the market doesn't care that you've never been heard of; the vast majority prefer their beer cheap AND tasty, which is why Bud Light remains the supreme beer choice.

Actually the craft market has been growing more each year eating up shares from InBev and Miller/Coors. Hence the reason they have been trying to introduce "craft" style beers.

False. Microbrews are popping up because people are becoming increasingly narcissistic and drinking craft beer is a sign of elitism. Budweiser is merely just capitalizing on the ignorance and arrogance of the self-proclaimed elitists.
