Tomfoolery & shenanigans

I know this is a bit early since the season isn't over, but with all this Te'o bullshit...I am interested to know where everyone thinks he will fall to? Obviously, the Bama game didn't help his case and now with these latest shenanigans...if you were a gm, where would you take him?

Also, as for the Browns, I have my doubts, but I am hoping Jarvis Jones somehow slips to us(never happen).

I see Geno Smith listed in several mocks as the #1 pick...I want no part of him.

It was probably depend on his combine... I mean look at Vontaze Burfict he was supposed to be a 1st rounder then it all starts coming out how much of a douche he was in college and had a terrible combine and he went undrafted. Earliest I'd take Te'o now would be in the 4th round though.

Burfict is a very good comparison....he was undraftable because of his tomfoolery. I know te'o is still projected in the first, but I wouldn't want him at all....not even in the 6th

I'm hearing late 2nd early 3rd at best for Te'o. I think the Jets take him in the 3rd round because they seem to love drama queens.

Also, no way I want Te'o on the Browns. Not even undrafted.

Te'o would have to get Lacy's and Warmack's footprint tats removed form his back first before I'd even consider him.

Curious for BR's opinion. He always seems to have a handle on the draft situation.

Wouldn't touch Te'o with a 9 foot imaginary pole.

As for the Browns, I see two scenarios.

First Round- pick top available from this list
  1. Jarvis Jones, OLB
  2. Barkevious Mingo, OLB
  3. Kenny Vaccaro, FS
Third Round
  1. Desmond Trufant, CB
  2. David Amerson, CB
OR: Trade Down and take CB Xavier Rhodes first round, DE/OLB John Simon second round, and CB Trufant or Amerson third round.

6th and 7th rounds are FB and P respectfully.

Either way, Free Agency will be very important this year. MUST GET 1 receiver, 1 FS (if Vaccaro isn't 1st round choice), 1 OG (two would be nice), and depending on draft choice OLB or CB. For these spots, I like WRs- Jennings or Wallace. OG-Geoff Schwartz or Levitre. OLB-Anthony Spencer. CBs- Sam Shields, Brent Grimes, Mike Jenkins (in that order). FS-Goldson, Landry, Chung.

If te'o would slide to the 3rd I would take him in a heart beat especially if we switch to the 3-4. He's a first rd talent in the 3rd rd, you gotta jump on that especially at a position of need. I could give to shits if he had 20 imaginary gf's as long as he plays well.

Can't really make a prediction for the Browns until they hire a DC and we know what direction they're going to go.

I'm kind of surprised you don't have Bjoern Werner or Damontre Moore on your list considering we've been projected to grab both of them in many early mocks. Not sure which route I would prefer at this point. Obviously, Jarvis Jones would be a popular pick, but Werner has also been compared to JJ Watt. However, Watt had one of the most impressive season's I can remember from a DL, so that may be a bit far-fetched.

i'd say the browns end up with either moore, mingo, werner or jordan at six. i'd also be okay with milliner if they are able to make significant headway in free agency with pass rushers (kruger, barwin, etc)

I remember 2 years ago I was pimping jj watt big time and wanted him at 6 and everyone said he was a huge reach at 6. Well it looks like he is the best player in that draft. Really sucks I wanted him big time.

Good point....you could tell him the opposing QB or RB is sleeping with his imaginary girlfriend.

Havent checked any mocks, but I imagine there will be some talent at DB (with character issues) in the mid rounds that could be a great steal. Greg Reid, Ray Ray Armstrong, Matheiu.
